My maternal grandmother was the love of my life!

As with most families, there is no one like grandmothers! My maternal grandmother, Caroline Virginia Boston married Joseph Jefferson. Grandma was bed ridden and so was her brother Herley. However, being bed ridden did not stop grandma from doing anything. She was an expert seamstress, storyteller, gardner, and cook. When grandma died, my whole life seemed to fall apart. Grandma was born in 1918 and made her last journey in 1981. I miss her but she stays around me all the time. I can sense her presence.
