Presenting: "Love's Soft Voice"

Snatched from the Motherland’s wound, slave traders ship Princess Zerondi to America as a victim of the Triangular Slave Trade. Lord Welch purchases Zerondi while he is intoxicated. En route to his plantation, Welch falls from the wagon while his horses lead Zerondi to a field of wild oats where she frees herself. Malnourished, dehydrated, and covered with severe wounds, Zerondi roams through the wilderness until she faints and remains for several days. Meanwhile, Yellow Wolf, a young Indian prince leaves his village and heads for the sacred mountain on his first vision quest. After traveling for several days, Yellow Wolf discovers Zerondi’s near lifeless body. Aware of her slave status, Yellow Wolf spends several weeks in the forest nursing Zerondi back to health. Once Zerondi gains strength, Yellow Wolf takes her to his village. Will they overcome racism and language barriers?

PublishAmerica of Baltimore, Maryland published Love's Soft Voice, however, Dorrance Publishing Company reviewed it and they said, "Love’s Soft Voice is designed to be a testament to the transcendent power of love... Love’s Soft Voice is filled with rich descriptions of setting and culture... Readers that are interested in heritage, culture, and love stories would enjoy Love's Soft Voice."

(We Are All Related)

"Think about the White Buffalo! It is time that we come together. It is time to be proud. Blood is strong and it never dies. Blood is life and if we mix blood, it will not lose its power. It is time that we stand as One! It is time that we listen to our Ancestors who whisper with Love’s Soft Voice!"

---Ruby Lee Whitehurst

"All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth; befalls the sons of the earth. Man did not weave the web of life. He is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself."

---Chief Seattle, 1854

"Twas mercy brought me from my pagan land. Taught my benighted soul to understand. That there's God, that there's a Savior too. Once I redemption neither sought nor knew. Some view our sable race with scornful eye. 'Their color is diabolic dye.' Remember, Christians, Negroes, black as Cain, may be refined and join the angelic train."

---Phillis Wheatley

(1753?-1784)
